How to manage Neocities site with IMP!

IMP! is crazy comvinient, when you plan to have just a couple of pages, or if you plan to have links to all your pages at one page, like portfolio.

Get IMP!

The easiest way is to get "CDN-equipped" version.

1. Click this link
2. Scroll down, click "Duplicate page" button
3. Enter any filename, ending with .html. Use index.htmlfor main page.

Edit text

Open downloaded file in your browser. You'll see the markdown editor for your text. You can use HTMl tags as well.

Add images

Put images in the same folder, where your html file resides. Use markdown syntax to add them to your text.

Customize design

Under the markdown editor you'll see the field for custom CSS, where you can change colors, fonts, and other design elements. You can than clone file, using "duplicate file" button.

Fill in SEO information

Under the markdown editor, fill in page title, description, add link to preview image if required.

Upload!

When you're done, click the big "save" button and save file (overwrite existing). Upload it to yor Neocities site.
